Tips Before Using a Propane Grill for the First Time.
- We recommend using a portable grill as it can easily be moved to an open area or moved against the direction of the wind.
- Always light your gas grill with the lid open. Lighting the gas grill with the lid closed can cause gas to accumulate in the gas grill and may cause an explosion hazard.
- Light your gas grill in an open area. Ventilation is necessary as leaking propane can ignite and cause a fire.
- Always check the gas line connection to avoid gas leakage.
- If ignition fails or if you smell gas, switch everything off. Wait for 5 minutes to make sure the gas while checking on the connection clears then try lighting again.
- Do not lean over the grill when lighting.
- Always read the instruction manual before trying to light a gas grill for the first time. If it is a second-hand grill, always contact the company’s customer service for advice.
